Visitors might also participate actively in all farming activities thus developing their free time creatively.

Cooking: The traditional Cretan diet, as evidenced by many medical research, is an excellent model for a healthy diet based on seasonal greens, herbs, fruits and vegetables that the Cretan land produces and of course on pure virgin olive oil. In our own farm estate the visitor will have the opportunity (if desired) to gather, together with us, seasonal herbs and vegetables, eggs from the coop and with us to learn the secrets of the traditional gastronomy by preparing some of the most representative dishes of Crete, which will be cooked in the wooden oven and when ready, we will enjoy, with good red wine from our cellar, a delicious little trip to the traditional food paths of our land..... Cheers!...

Bread - Rusk: In our house, the wooden-stove cooks bread and the characteristic Cretan Rusk, kneaded with yeast and whole wheat flour, with a unique way of wisdom taught us by our parents and their parents for over a century now. The essence of the timber and the cooked bread wakes up the senses and prepares them for a tasteful enjoyment that follows. Have you ever tried hot bread, cooked in timbers with olive oil? Cycling: In our guesthouse there are bicycles for our guests, so they can further explore the routes through nature, around the village and to the sea.

Horse riding: At a distance of 4km from our guesthouse through a wonderful walking path in nature ,led by a guide (or 7km away by car), there is the equestrian club of Ntere, where the visitor can take riding lessons and/or riding in the area to discover and enjoy the secrets of the domestic, meek and wild, fauna.

Pottery: Pottery is one of the oldest arts developed in Crete from the early Minoan years 3000 - 2100 BC. At Chania is still alive and practiced consistently until today. One of the most significant representatives of this art in Chania and in Greece is Kokovlis George and Alda Maria Reis. At their workshop, in-Chania’s Industrial Park (VIOPA is the first designed and multitasked industrial park in Greece), the visitor can learn the secrets of clay and if he wishes to make his first steps in pottery with them. Grape-harvest: The world's first and premier wine-press native since the due of the Minoan era was found in Crete. Faithful to the tradition, Crete is the most respectfully wine producer locality all over Greece. In a short distance from the house stands our vine. In an extended area of 2,5 acres, three different varieties of vine are being cultivated. Therefore, the vine-harvest as well as the stepping of the grapes its being completed within a three stage schedule:

• At the end of August the grape-harvest and the stepping of the early traditional Cretan varieties of Grapes named locally "Liatiko" & "Kotisifali" begins.
• The first fortnight of September, the grape-harvest and the stepping of a mid-early variety of grapes begin.
• At the end of September the final white harvest and the stepping of the last variety starts up until its completion.

Our visitors can participate in Dionysian activities of harvest and stepping either by watching the processes of wine production or taking part actively if they wish to. Of course they will be able to excurse in the cellar tasting our wine variety. Also during summertime they will have the possibility to watch various farming activities.

Traditional Raki cauldron: Raki is an alcoholic limpid beverage which is prepared from the grapes' bark, after excluding the must needed for the wine by the distillation process. In the house exists a traditional distiller which unfailingly works since 1927. An essential component of the distillation process, it's the companion, the local dishes and singing which all together create semblance Dionysian atmosphere.

Olive gathering: (olive-crop): The Olive oil it's the richest and the healthiest nourishment which combines with a unique way the tastefulness with the healthy diet. Olives exist in Crete since 2800 B.C., A place which its geographical position and climate it seems to particularly be present for that blessed tree. The olive oil that's being produced from our olives is virgin, has a deep golden-green color, it's limpid with a dense fluidity, tasteful with a pleasant essence, with low acidity. Our visitors apart from the possibility to taste our exceptional quality olive products, they might if they wish watch and participate in the olive-collecting route along the wintry months (November through February).

Orchard - Garden: In our property, visitors will find a variety of fruit-bearing trees and depending on the season can taste their fruits, such as: Apricots, peaches, plums, baccas, greengages, greengages, lemons, oranges, figs, and grapes. The garden of the house offers visitors' the pleasure and taste of local seasonal vegetables as well.
